To help with the two way requirement and prevent conflicts I have used the create batch functionality in FreeFileSync, and use external triggers like Windows Tasks to run this batch automatically at regular intervals.

This two way sync is helpful as I can add business data to my PC or the NAS directly and know that once FreeFileSync is run the data on both devices will be the same.
An exception to this is that on the NAS and PC there are some business folders which require a two way sync.
