Desperados 3 has this nasty habit of having sections of the levels kind of roped off from each other, almost as if they were chunks of mini levels strewn together. It really does stand out in its own right. Its music and atmosphere is phenomenal, its narrative is great, and its gameplay is just so rewarding and addictive. As the action of the game is shown in an isometric view and allows you to play even with a camera at a far distance, it is easy to miss something important. One of the most helpful features in Desperados III is the ability to highlight interactive objects and characters from the environment with a single key press. All difficulty levels are available right away from the start, and you don’t need to complete the main story campaign on lower difficulty levels to unlock them.
